The funding received will directly support the creation of a pop-up museum within the Broadway’s foyer, to preserve the collective memories of cinema-going in South Ayrshire and become the first indoor museum experience in Prestwick in living memory.

Connecting digitally will allow us to build a dynamic community - particularly in the school, community and family groups we work with, creating personalised resources to improve mental health and wellbeing.

New kayaking equipment and pontoon ladder will allow us to safely expand boating activities for more of our cadets, supporting youth development for years to come and community engagement.

We’ll offer workshops, talks, and enterprise support for adults and families, creating a welcoming space to learn, grow ideas, and bring positive activity back to Newmarket Street.

Adult & Family Learning: Practical skills-building that enhances confidence, resilience and wellbeing. Youth Work: Young carers gain life saving capabilities and positive peer learning. Community Development: Strengthens local networks, fosters inter agency collaboration and mutual support.

This is a community-led project to create and then manage a stunning artwork in a disused railway tunnel on an active-travel path at Alloway. To date we have involved over 2,000 local people mainly from schools and colleges but also involving the older generation to create the artwork under the guidance of a professional muralist. We believe involving so many of our local communities will provide a sense of ownership and help safeguard the artwork created.
